John Baselmans
Born; May 20, 1954
Waalre, the Netherlands.
He is a Philosopher / Writer / Artist / Graphic Designer / Illustrator who attended
the "Graphic School (University)" and "The Free Academy"
In Eindhoven the Netherlands.
Afterwards he attended several drawing courses
such as Airbrush and Architectural Rendering in the U.S.A.
His drawings are unique and have been well received around the world.
In his career he has created thousands of drawings and illustrations.
He designed more than 200 stamps for the Post Office of the Netherlands Antilles.
He have presented my artwork in more than 56 exhibitions world wide.
At this moment he is living on the Antilles.
His publications and drawings are growing everyday.
His work started from his birth when he saw this world was taking the wrong turn.
A world of war, destruction and domination.
His goal in life is to show people another way,
another dimension every human can follow and experiences.
This dimension works for him, for others and it will for you.
It's no "Secret", no "Matrix", no "Science fiction" no it is reality and it is there.
But before he starts, he makes very clear he doesn't represent a sect,
cult or religion also he is neither a scientist nor a medical practitioner.
The things he writes about are personal experiences.
He believes in his way of living of positive energy and the way of healing.
At the age of three I began to draw like every child, without any shyness:
His family: Baselmans (father) - Verhoeven (mother) Both of them were creative.
His grandfather (father's side) was a textile designer like his father,
but his father was also creative in many other areas.
They talked a lot about drawings and everything
that was important for him to know about art.
His grandfather (mother's side) was a man with a lot of hobbies
and he did everything he wanted to do.
John learned music (violin and piano) from him as well as
photography - development, etc.
He taught him "how to see" in order to create drawings and paintings.
There are many things to learn in our world around us.
His grandfather died too soon for him and with his death his teacher was
gone and John's world was empty and lonely (he thought).
The best thing that ever happened was around his 15th birthday.
When his father began to redraw an old drawing of my grandfather's.
Pen & Ink was not father's "forte".
John observed him working with that medium on paper, and after many mistakes,
he took father's pen out of his hand and made his first pen drawing.
Six years later John made the "De Nachtwacht" (The Nightwatch)
of Rembrandt van Rijn.
From his father he learned woodcarving, clay, painting
and a lot of other techniques that he still use today.
His books are well received and the briefings about health are
read by many people world wide.
