The naked truth 

Sounds good huh, well, I will tell you the truth. Not the truth you think because nobody 
believes me when I write this. That is why I start to write about nakedness.

There is something I was totally against from the day I was born. Clothes! Not that I am 
here now naked in front of my computer but I mean the way people like to dress.

Clothes are the most terrible things that are completely out of context and are not any 
longer just garments to dress against cold or warmth. Clothes are now often worn 
because of the newest fashion, you can show off that you can pay more for clothes than 
others and you can show how important you are. It is no longer a way to dress against 
cold/ warmth, no it is how we look. Let me start this chapter with a story what happened 
to me when I was younger.

Let me tell you first how I was looking. I got long hair over my shoulders, beard, very tight 
brown pants, large boots till my knees and a black blazer on with different necklaces 
of silver. I was around 17 when I went to a store to look for new pants. When I came into 
that store a person walked the whole time 5 feet behind me and watched me if I was 
going to steal. I got out of that store without buying anything and went home. At home I 
did my hair so it looks I got short hair. I put on a shirt, tie and nice shoes. I went back to 
that store. The same man came and hold the store door open for me. I got in, hold the 
door and asked for the manager. He was the manager, he said, so I asked him "Do you
remember that young boy with long hair a half hour ago?" Yes, was his answer. I told him; 
"It was me! With my long hair and different clothes you thought I came here to steal and 
now I have nice clothes on and tie you are holding your store door open for me!" 
He went red and he looked like he could sink through the floor.

This is a true story and I can tell you more about what happened when I came into 
other places. To get work was impossible when I was dressed the way I wanted and got 
my hair the way I like. A lot of companies do not look to the papers you have, the gifts or 
possibilities. No, they look how you are dressed!  It is incredible, because a man in a 
jacket and tie is not a guarantee and can be the biggest swindler and murderer! It is not 
the clothes that makes a person, it is what is in you.

In this modern world everything is about how we are looking, what we wear and how the 
face lifts are done and beneath that all there is just an empty person. An old man/woman 
full of wrinkles, can be a person with a wonderful hearth having a perfect happy life.

What is the matter here? Why do people look at the way a person is dressed if he is 
important or not? Why that terrible tie that looks like you are starting to hang yourself? 
With all these very uncomfortable clothes on, you can hardly walk in a normal way and this
just to look important or perfect to others. It looks like many people want to be actors in 
Hollywood or are acting their whole life without any content, empty people without a hearth 
or soul. All the years I am here on this earth I wear what I want and what I like and it fits 
me fine.

A few years ago I had a reception to go at our president's home where I was supposed 
to give her a drawing of herself made by me. I went to her home in the middle of the city 
and announced my arrival at the porter. He gaped at me and some other people came 
outside. They asked me; "Do you want to go to our president dressed like that?"  
"Why not?", I asked. "Because you are dressed with a short and a shirt from a famous 
company." I turned around and walked away. They came after me and said to me: "It is 
okay you can enter." There I was standing with all people around me in suits and I myself 
in a comfortable short and shirt!

I have one principle, if you do not want to accept me in the clothes I wear do not ask me 
to come! I am not dirty, my clothes are clean, so what is the difference between you 
and me?

The same happened when I went to the American Consulate, delivering drawings the 
consul ordered. Dressed again in my short and shirt I went to the porter. A lady came 
to take over the drawings because I could not go to the American consul the way I 
looked! I did not give her my drawings and just told her: "I have an appointment with 
the consul." She came back and let me in. I did hand over the drawings myself to the 
consul, we talked for a while and I was invited for a reception. I went to the reception 
the same way I always dressed, in a short and a shirt. There I was standing again 
between people in suits or tuxedos, feeling myself comfortable talking with the consul.

Yes, there are people who also believe in all these appearances like clothes. 
And guess what, the parties, receptions and everywhere people invited me to come in 
the past, know "John is coming the way he likes to look"! They respect me, not by my 
clothes but how I really am inside my heart and soul.

As long there are companies, agencies, parties, receptions telling me to come in 
tuxedo or suit, I will still go dressed the way I like. Because people who are believing 
in clothes are people who are empty, short minded and for sure do not know the 
sense of a human being. 

That is why I write this chapter, because the real person comes up when you see him 
naked without all these expensive clothes, jewels and so on. Actually you are yourself, 
pure, when you are having a shower, naked. At that time you look like the same person 
who is poor, besides your million dollar house! Then you see who is really rich, further 
in life, because there is no place to hide. That open warm heart and pure soul that is 
there for everybody. Think about that if you are having a shower and look at yourself, 
it is not the clothes that make a man or a woman but the hearth and soul in you.
